UCHRA Public Transportation is the largest department of Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency. Of our 170-person staff, approximately 130 of those are drivers. Drivers are the driving force behind UCHRA Public Transportation; transporting more than 150,000 riders each year. Our drivers are trained to assist riders who need it and all buses are equipped with accessible lifts and designated seating for those with disabilities.

We are often the lifeline between clients and their medical appointments; ensuring riders get to necessary medical appointments such as dialysis. We are also the link between rural clients and destinations such as the Nashville International Airport (BNA), shopping, medical facilities, and more. For our drivers, this is more than just operating a bus. Driving for UCHRA Public Transportation is a calling to provide the best possible care and compassion for riders in the Upper Cumberland region.
